We're currently looking for a postdoc to join the lab, particularly someone with a background in Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other quantitative field. A background in neuroscience is not required, though a desire to learn about neuroscience is. To join the lab, email david.lipshutz@bcm.edu with a brief description of your scientific background, your research interests (and how they align with our research) and your CV.
To join the lab as a graduate student, you must be in a Ph.D. program at Baylor College of Medicine or Rice University. If you are in one of these programs, email david.lipshutz@bcm.edu for rotation opportunities.
We typically have space for 2 undergraduate research assistants majoring in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science). To join the lab, email david.lipshutz@bcm.edu with a brief description of relevant research experience (if applicable, though not required) and computational courses (e.g., Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Machine Learning).
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate high school students at this time.
