David Lipshutz

David Lipshutz, Ph.D.            

David is an Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at Baylor College of Medicine and a core faculty member of the Rice Neuroengineering Initiative. Before joining BCM, he was an Associate Research Scientist in Computational Neuroscience at the Flatiron Institute. Prior to working in computational neuroscience, he received a Ph.D. in Mathematics from UCSD and held postdoctoral positions in Applied Mathematics at Brown University and in Electrical Engineering at the Technion.

Josue is a graduate student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University. He is passionate about generative models, neuroscience, and recurrent neural networks.
